Minnesota needs a Senator who’s going to stand up for the rights of Minnesota’s sportsmen and hunters. As a member of Pheasants Forever, Ducks Unlimited, and the Sportsmen’s Caucus, Kennedy is committed to making sure we protect our wetlands and wildlife habitat, promote clean water, and protect 2nd Amendment rights for law-abiding citizens. Mark also stands up for the rights of snowmobilers, having cast the deciding vote to stop a ban on snowmobiling in Yellowstone. If you share Mark’s love of the outdoors and you’d like to find out how you can get involved with Sportsmen for Kennedy, Sign up here!
Sportsman: Kennedy is a hunter and fisherman who enjoys the outdoors.
Mark grew up working at a bait shop in Pequot Lakes, so he understands how
important sportsmen and women are to Minnesota’s rural economy.
Supporting 2nd Amendment Rights: Kennedy is endorsed by the NRA.
Mark supports strictly enforcing existing laws against those who commit
crimes with guns.
Advocating for Habitat: Kennedy authored the Wetlands Loan Act to double resources devoted to protecting critical habitat to keep Minnesota’s skies full of ducks and field full of pheasants. He also understands the need to allow new forest growth so critical to deer and grouse habitat.
Preserving Access: Mark believes we can both protect our National Parks and Forests and preserve access for responsible ATV, snowmobile and hunting use. He was the deciding vote to allow continued access for snowmobiling in Yellowstone.
Amy Klobuchar: Opposing 2nd Amendment Rights: Supports extending the Clinton Gun Ban and opposed concealed carry legislation. Said NRA’s agenda is not consistent with Minnesota values.
Restricting Access / Habitat: Klobuchar has been endorsed by the League of Conservation Voters, a radical environmental group that wants to further restrict access of sportsmen to National Forests and Parks.
